Set the space between products on the wall to a specific distance, or at least be able to see the space between products after they’ve been ordered, so you can lay it out on the wall exactly as it is in Swift Galleries.
I have a lot of long distance clients, I use WHCC frames and the thick color outline just isn’t selling it for them. Its nice that the sizes and what not are there but it would be nice to see the actual frame
Allow more customized discounts that can be automatically applied to only certain items. For example, if someone buys 3 or more wall art pieces, they get x% off those three pieces, but not other add on items, and then maybe a higher % after 5 pieces. Or if they buy a folio box they get x% off any wall art purchase. Or they get varying % off digital packages after a certain dollar amount of products has been achieved.
We are just using the Swift software for IPS and room view, not ordering. So since we live in the sticks with a 1mb upload max we upload lower resolution images, but I don’t want that showing to clients that there maybe a problem with the image.
It would be great to have a template for this Design Aglow product…a 20×20 Hawthorne frame with a mat that has nine 5×5 openings:

I’d love to see the filename of an image used in a product when looking at the Gallery Details or Product Details page. I know I can click on the product, bring up cropping, and see the filename there, but it’d be awesome to see the filenames included with the info about Type, Size, etc. Thanks!
Disconnect the horizontal mat size from the vertical so members can have photos that art different aspect ratios than the frame.
Also related, allow varied mat widths/sizes within a product. So, if a few sizes have a 2-inch mat, and a few sizes have a 1-inch mat. This feature would allow you to set a different mat size for each print size.
if a client wants to see a color in black and white or sepia tone to be able to just show them what it may look like. Knowing that it doesn’t represent what our black and white or sepia will look like. It can be easily explained to the client.
Ability to put one image across multiple products automatically.
Admin Note: While this is not automated, when you crop “by hand” and put the order through Swift Galleries, that will give you those cropped images you did by hand in the order folder. Then if your lab’s ordering software does not include this done for you, use these cropped images we processed for you in the order folder. If the lab includes auto-splits in their ordering software you can use their automatic-split there.
I would like the ability to associate a photo or multiple photos with an add on.
For example, I can create an add on album with 20 photos and then when it is selected during a sales session, I can select the 20 photos that go in there. So everything is right there in the sales order when I am placing the lab order later.
Admin Note: For now this isn’t a built-in feature in Swift Galleries but the workaround is to click the bottom right tab to show photos, and in the notes/description type in those image numbers (the way we number images is like LSmith_0001.jpg so I’d put files in the notes like this: 0001, 0007, 0011, etc.). It’s not as quick as clicking a photo in the filmstrip, but is a decent workaround for now.
Right now, you can add one template to a wall, but when you try to add the second, it just changes the first. You have to recreate the 2nd template manually piece by piece. This is very cumbersome and time prohibitive. We need to quickly be able to add and remove multiple templates on walls.
I would love you you could create a quick promo video (similar to your promo vid for photographers) so we can share that with our clients. It would be geared toward them and talk about how the photographer can offer these features in a meeting to clients. It would be non-branded and only show off features so we can promote this to our clients. Many of my clients have trouble understanding all the features and ease of use until they actually see it in action in the meeting. This would help to book more IPS meetings!
Create a Filter for seeing only images that are voted Yes or only images voted No in the culling or compare screens.
Admin note: you can have No images set to not show in the sales meeting designer but that does mean any saved suggestions with No images will also not be accessible. If you have your sales meeting preferences set to hide No images in the designer, it’s probably best to save suggestions without images so they show up in the sales meeting.
On the itemized invoice Your Order Has Been Processed, there is a cool thumbnail pic of product and the price. Please add the “name” established in Manage Products spread sheet and jPeg name, but don’t make it twelve pages long for 5 products/galleries. Thank you!!!
I love that the customer receipts are much shorter now! BuT I wish there was an itemized list next to the gallery pics, side by side as they are in Designer for Photographer. Customers have no idea what they ordered…they see 10 pictures with no dimensions and a total dollar amount. I’m still learning. Thanks so much! Keep up the good work! Cat
I’d love the option of deleting all of the images in an album at once, rather than one by one.
Admin Note: while this is not a current feature, we find it’s easier to delete the entire client and start over only if you don’t already have sales opportunities, saved suggestions, etc. set for that client.
It would be very nice if every time you exit out of a comparison of images it didn’t take you back to the top of all the images. It gets frustrating having to scroll back down every time and figure out where you were.
I want to see the names of the templates in the designer. I name them based on collections and being able to easily see that this template features image sizes from that collection would help keep track of the customers interests and allow them to see clearly the difference image size makes.
It would be super helpful to be able to change the slideshow speed to make it slower or faster, hopefully by 1/4 or 1/10th second increments. I once had a client dad (who says what he thinks) say in the middle of a slideshow, “Woah, don’t blink or you’ll miss em,” haha!
Admin Note: You can add an embed code for a slideshow you’ve built elsewhere.
I would love to show a client what an album might look like. This could be very rudimentary and work like a short page turning slideshow. I would just want to be able to arrange images on the pages. Showing different cover options would be a nice bonus.
Maybe this would just be a “share” link that would import the gallery design into another users’ account, or it could be a big pool of templates created by other photographers that you could browse and download from.
some labs such as WHCC offer their own room wall temples. It would be nice to be able to import those templates directly into Designer instead of having to recreate them manually.

After finishing comparing images, the tiled images page starts at the top. When you have more than 30 images, it’s a pain to scroll through them all to get to the next set of images to compare. Go back to last scroll position.
In the in-person sales meeting check out, there’s a video on the left about placing your order, but it’s more for online sales and not something the photographer needs to walk through during a live sales meeting.
I’d like to see the feature of sub-albums. That way if you have a client who you’ve photographed more than once you don’t have to see the photos in a slideshow again but you (and the client) have the option to add them to their wall design.
Ability to toggle on/off the auto email confirmation to clients at checkout.
This is particularly important for me as a non US user in a non english speaking country. I appreciate that localisation of the software is no doubt a way off. I can workaround the language in the UI, and hope to shield the user from all the English as best I can by adding my product names and descriptions in Japanese (not tested this yet), but the auto email to the client throws a spanner in my attempts to shield them from all the confusing english.
Admin Note: while that email field is required, you can put your own email address in there so a client will not receive an email receipt.
As a light and airy photographer, I’d love the ability to change the slide show background to white to match my brand. You have a video on your main side that shows a white background for the slideshow example. Hoping that we can have this feature soon 🙂

When you have a lot of similar products at different prices but with identical templates, it would be great to be able to quickly see a colour key to help identify which template to choose when designing. This would save a lot of box ticking/ unticking to narrow down options
So we don’t plan on shipping goods to the customers, so I thought it would be handy to have a radio button above Shipping Information for “Collection in-person” that allowed for users to skip entering all that info.
But in hindsight, even if we don’t do shipping, we’d still want to have the customer’s details on the actual receipt. It would just be labelled “Customer Information” or something similar.
Basically a way to get through the checkout flow without the client seeing any reference to shipping – because we don’t offer shipping 🙂
I’d love to be able to duplicate a client, including images and suggestions. Or even just duplicate some or all of the gallery images to a new client. This feature would be useful for those of us who decorate commercial spaces and use the same sets of images for the commercial clients to select from.
I had some clients who wished to reduce their images further in order to help with picking for a gallery. I found it embarrassing having to go back via the browser back button in order to do this as all previous rejections had been reinstated and we had to start over again
I’m based in Japan, and while it’s great that Swift Galleries is non-currency specific, it would be really great if there were some way to disable the decimal places.
Japanese Yen does not use decimals and my customers are not used to seeing them, so at first glance my prices look astronomically high with the extra two zeros on the end 😀
I’m using my iPad to enter in my clients information for their order, and I need to scroll back UP to hit Review Information. Can we put this at the bottom of the screen after we input all of their information? Thanks!
Have the client details (name, email, address) that are provided for the IPS meeting settings to get auto filled for the purchasing part of SG. (Obviously you could edit the details if you needed to change them)
I would love the opportunity to choose either white or black background when clients select and compare images. It is a struggle when using a black backdrop, to know where the outlines of the portrait is.
On the automated receipt, is it possible to change the “Ship To” so that it says “Deliver To” instead? This way clients won’t assume the items are getting shipped directly to them. I love personally delivering to my clients, and this would help with eliminating the confusing.
so it’d be totally tubular if there was a seamless way to get images from Lightroom to Swift kinda like I can to my Photoshelter account. Idk if a plugin is the right way to go about it, as i’m pretty ignorant to the ways of you computer folks. It’d just be nice to skip a step and jump straight from LR to Swift!

I would to see once client cull through their images the total number of images chosen. It would also be nice once images chosen were separated to the side so you can see side by side what was chosen and not chosen. Also when in this mode, if an image can be X out would be nice. I believe 2 images needs to be selected in compare mode in order to X out.
I realise that this is a way off, but non-english language support would be my dream come true!
I know that I am a tiny niche being an English speaking user in a non-english speaking market, but starting with your “Make it work then make it better” ethos, the checkout, receipt and email confirmation is the most important starting point. The rest of the system is somewhat shielded from the customer as I am clicking through the process.

I am a boudoir photographer. Most clients who choose wall art, want to hang in bedroom bathroom or walk in closets. Please add these rooms to your program, as this is very helpful in them seeing their images displayed properly.
Would love to be able to have auto-fulfill for print & product options (see this as similar to an order placed through an online gallery like Instaproofs, etc)
Would specifically love to see: Richard Photo Lab (or ProDPI), WHCC Framed Prints & Red Tree Albums 🙂
Feels like this would really take it up a notch, streamline things & free-up workflow tasks!
